Modular homes are built in a factory controlled environment in "modules" or "sections" and are engineered and built to the state and local building codes where they will be located.
These factory built "modules" or "sections" are then transported to the job site where they are then installed on permanent foundations.
Unlike site-built homes that can take several months or years to complete, modular design allows a much faster build time considerably reducing the overall construction time.
